kusudama!
i made this today, using post-it notes! woohoo! using the instructions here:
the peace of paper - origami flowers-kusudama flowers link via curbly.com. the flower is a little shabby since it is my first. it wasn't behaving as i was glueing it together and kept popping open. my main mistake was using a gluestick which wasn't holding properly. you are supposed to using paper glue, like Elmer's or something.
then, i remembered i had liquid clear glue, but the applicator was broken and had a tendency to leak. i had to pour some out on a little jar lid and use a toothpick to apply the glue. this time it worked to stay.
i'm going to attempt an entire kusudama ball.
